I used the Lewis N. Clark Neck Stash on my recent trip to Italy and France and I felt secure in knowing that all of my valuables including passports, credit cards and cash were safe. I had read some security alerts of pick pockets at the tourist areas of the places I visited and with all of my valuables in my neck stash and nothing in my pockets I felt completely safe. I placed the neck stash over my shoulder and under my arm underneath my shirt and surprisingly the patented TravelDry fabric did not transmit any sweat to the stash. I highly recommend the Lewis N. Clark for all travelers.

Packing Cubes are Surprisingly Helpful – and this set is the best price, November 3, 2007

Regardless of which type of luggage I’m taking (rolling duffle or structured rolling bags) these packing cubes are extremely helpful with organization inside. They allow me to compartmentalize similar items like underwear in one cube, socks in another etc. I’ve also been happy with them for electronic stuff – I use one for powercords and cables (for laptop, Zen player, camera, mobile phone) and other small attachments like my memory card reader for the digital camera etc.

Very useful – and I’ve had some of these cubes for many years so they do hold up well. I like the Eagle Creek ones a little better but the Rick Steves set is by far the best price. And, Rick Steves is a travel guru by the way – if you don’t own some of his books you’re truly missing out. They are the best travel books on the market. Check out the Graffiti board on his website for additional info and a taste for his tips and recommendations.

Good luggage!, November 29, 2008

I’ve had this set for almost 3 years and have traveled on average once a month with the two rolling bags and smallest bag. The black does get dirty but is not hard to clean. We’re not too hard on our Luggage, and mostly travel by car, but our set shows very little wear to date. The quality is good though I know that you can spend more money and get awesome quality. I would buy this set again.

Lightweight, Comfortable, Secure, April 20, 2009

I bought this pouch for a music festival. I was worried about losing my wallet, cellphone, or keys out of my pants pockets while dancing around, and this pouch solved that.

I had been concerned that the neck strap adjustment mechanism wouldn’t be strong enough to support the weight of all my stuff, but it’s plenty strong.

I highly recommend this pouch. It’s lightweight, yet incredibly durable (it’s made of rip-stop fabric). A few times, I panicked because I thought I had lost the pouch, but it is just so comfortable I simply forgot it was there. There’s plenty of room for an entire wallet (though more comfortable to just take out the cards and cash you need), cellphone, keys, pad of paper, pen, and change.

Made living out of a suitcase a breeze, January 26, 2011

I have just returned from a 3 week tour of Germany, Switzerland, Italy, London, and New York City. One suitcase, with two Eagle Creek Pack-it folder 15′s and one 20. The 20 was great for pants, and some nice Kuhl wool sweaters for layering. Dress shirts and crew necks went in one of the 15′s and base layers went in another. Total bag weight was just 35 pounds. Socks and underwear went in a pair of Eagle Creek half cubes. It was so nice, everything stayed neat and organized, the shirts and pants did not wrinkle. As we moved about from day to day it was so easy to pack up the suitcase by stacking in the folders. When we arrived at a new place I could just pull the folders out and lay them on the extra bed or a table and it was easy to find everything I needed to get dressed the next day.

This is the first time I’ve tried using this system, and it is so much better than just dumping everything in your suitcase you can’t imagine. If you have a big trip coming up, do yourself a favor and get your suitcase organized with this gear.

perfect, April 3, 2011

I got one of this bags when I was going to Brazil, and the next trip I got another one so I could have two. I’ve been carrying a lot of stuff back and forth (my family is staying there) and I am checking in from 5 to 6 bags everytime (ouch!) – I’ve done this trip twice with these bags, and the check in people on two different airlines didn’t complain about the size (which I was sure they would – it’s huge) – so, it has worked out great for me. Last trip, the plane broke at JFK, so the luggage went to Miami instead of brasil, then from Miami BACK to NYC, then to Brazil, was picked up by airport personnel, loaded into an open bed truck, and drove to my house down there – not exactly people who would care for your luggage. They are both still intact, and the grommet system for closing it has worked surprisingly well so far. I am getting a third one right now… ha!
